Train
Service from Malaga Airport
The daily train service from Malaga to
Fuengirola is excellent - cheap, clean, and always on
time. Trains run every 30 minutes from the
airport. A single ticket to Torreblanca, Los Boliches and
Fuengirola costs €1.65 or less and can be bought from a machine on the station
platform.
The station is just a 5 minute walk from
the airport. When you come out of the arrivals
gate in Terminal 2, take the lift upstairs to the
departure lounge and walk out onto the street.
Cross the road and bear right, walking through the car
park. follow the signs for el ferrocarril until you come to a bridge. The station is
just over the bridge and you can take your luggage
trolley as far as the station. There are some
stairs up to the station platform and there is no ramp
or lift so the train is not suitable for those with
walking difficulties.
